DIGITEL TS has actively participated in the recent workshop organised by ETSI and CEN at ETSI headquarters in Sophia Antipolis. Our Chief Product Officer, Daniel García Suárez, was present to learn first-hand about the current status of the eIDAS2 regulation standards and to attend the demonstrations of the large-scale pilots implementing the EU Digital Identity Wallet.
This workshop, led by the ETSI ESI Technical Committee and CEN/TC 224, focused on the development of standards that will support the new European Digital Identity Framework, which will significantly transform the security of digital infrastructure in Europe. This framework will facilitate cross-border transactions and ensure frictionless access to financial, government and commercial services.
At DIGITEL TS, we are closely monitoring these developments to integrate them into our solutions and continue to offer innovative services in the field of digital identity. In particular, we are aligning our strategy with the standards detailed by ETSI to implement the identification of legal persons and the use of verifiable credentials within the Dome Marketplace. This approach will enable greater security and trust in the exchange of verifiable information, facilitating interoperability across multiple sectors.
